Senior Automation Engineer with focus on Vision & Product Security (Traceability)

Role Overview

We are looking for a senior automation engineer to join the OT Automation SBC team. The role involves working with the implementation, maintenance, and support of serialization and aggregation systems, with a focus on platforms such as MTPCE and Systech. The role also includes vision inspections, presence controls, and OCV inspections. The work involves close contacts and close collaboration with the entire production flow and with quality assurance, process technology, IT/OT, maintenance, project organizations, and global functions within AstraZeneca.

What You Will Do

Implement and configure market requirements for serialization and aggregation systems, participate in projects to develop and improve systems, create and optimize print solutions, maintain software and systems related to equipment, work with vision inspections, presence controls, and OCV inspections, perform structured troubleshooting, and drive continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Good system knowledge and experience of working with systems, control systems, and computers
• Technical higher education
• Knowledge of GMP and quality systems
• Good understanding of production processes and quality control
• Experience of vision systems, such as Seavision, Antares, Balluff, Baumer, Cognex, Omron, Vision Automation, Cevilog, Octum, and Seidenader
• Experience of Track & Trace systems
• Experience of taking backups of and restoring system data
• Experience of vision inspections, presence controls, and OCV inspections
• Knowledge of SQL and Java
• Knowledge of and experience of creating ZPL files for Zebra printers
