Senior Security Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to strengthen our team. As a Senior Security Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving our security architecture for infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.

What You Will Do

Your tasks will include developing and implementing security architectures, conducting threat modeling, security reviews, and architecture evaluations for new and existing systems, planning and conducting penetration tests, and developing and implementing security monitoring solutions.

The ideal candidate will have more than 5 years of experience in IT security, information security, or security engineering, as well as knowledge of cloud security, application security, network security, or security operations.

Requirements

• more than 5 years of experience in IT security, information security, or security engineering
• knowledge of cloud security, application security, network security, or security operations
• experience with common security standards and frameworks, such as OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, or CIS Benchmarks
• practical experience with EDR solutions, security monitoring, and vulnerability management
• good knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language, such as Python, Go, or Bash
• analytical and problem-solving skills
• very good English skills
• good German skills are a plus
• experience with cloud platforms, containers, infrastructure as code, or DevSecOps
• relevant security certifications, such as CISSP, OSCP, CCSP, or Security+
