Network & Security Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a Network & Security Engineer to join our team in our headquarters in the Hamburger HafenCity. As a Network & Security Engineer, you will be part of our Network & Security Team within the IT Infrastructure and work on a diverse, international, and hybrid IT landscape.

What You Will Do

You will implement, administer, and optimize our network and security infrastructure, analyze our hybrid IT environment, identify vulnerabilities and risks, and implement appropriate measures to secure our systems. You will also investigate technical anomalies independently, identify optimization potential early on, and develop practical solutions for complex issues.

You will work closely with various internal teams and external service providers, advise on technical issues, and bring together different requirements into feasible solutions. You ideally bring experience in network administration and network security, as well as experience in operating and developing complex IT environments.

Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in network administration and network security
• Experience in operating and developing complex IT environments
• Good knowledge of network and security technologies such as LAN, WAN, firewall, VPN, and switching
• Experience with Azure Cloud, SD-WAN, Fortinet, Zscaler, Velocloud, or Cisco
